CoverGov Welcomes Summer ‘26 Intern Class

The temperature is rising, the coffee machine is working overtime, and the CoverGov office has a brand-new surge of energy. We are officially thrilled to welcome our Summer 2026 Intern Class!

This year, we selected a brilliant group of builders, thinkers, and go-getters who are ready to dive headfirst into the intersection of government technology and cutting-edge innovation. Over the next few months, these interns won’t just be shadowing meetings or fetching coffee - they will be actively shaping the future of how public sector operations evolve.

Here is a sneak peek at the three core pillars our Summer ’26 cohort will be mastering:

Agentic AI: Moving Beyond the Chatbot

We aren't just talking about AI that answers questions; we are building AI that takes action. Our interns are diving straight into the world of Agentic AI - designing and optimizing autonomous systems capable of workflows, reasoning, and complex problem-solving.

From automating dense bureaucratic workflows to creating smarter decision-making tools for our clients, this cohort is getting hands-on experience with the next frontier of artificial intelligence.

Deep-Dive Research: Navigating the GovTech Landscape

Data without context is just noise. Our interns will be working alongside our product and strategy teams to conduct critical market and policy research. They’ll be tasked with:

• Analyze shifting government regulations.

• Identifying friction points in public sector procurement.

• Uncovering data-driven insights that directly influence our product roadmap.

By the end of the summer, they’ll know the ins and outs of the GovTech ecosystem better than any of their peers.

High-Impact Sales: Mastering the Art of the B2G Deal

The best technology in the world doesn’t matter if it never gets into the hands of the people who need it. Our sales interns are stepping onto the front lines of Business-to-Government (B2G) strategy. They will learn how to navigate complex sales cycles, understand client pain points, pitch sophisticated AI solutions, and build lasting relationships with public sector stakeholders. It’s a masterclass in communication, resilience, and strategic growth.
